An old rural house set within a large park, in the countryside of Monopoli, a landscape surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and defined by the typical dry white-stone walls. It consists of two distinct but adjacent units: the 18th century historic residence and an annex which was originally a stable, both restored through splendid renovation that highlights the typical details of Apulian buildings, such as the typical white stone. The Villa is surrounded by lush vegetation and by an expanse of olive and almond trees that line the path leading to the swimming pool. Its location is ideal for those who wish to explore the real Apulia, visiting the most characteristic places such as Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Ostuni or the splendid historic town centre of Monopoli, with the castle of Charles V, lying on the crystal clear sea and its many churches .

Monopoli is one of the busiest and most populous ports in Apulia, on the Adriatic Sea, offering endless possibilities to its visitors: the medieval town has as its symbol the Castle of Charles V, where exhibitions and events are hosted, and the walls that protect the historic town centre, but it is also a tourist town with clubs and bars on the seafront and shops of all kinds.

Exterior

Located in a large green park in the heart of the Monopoli countryside. The external areas of the Masseria are a triumph of colours: the typical paving with chianche, the vine-covered canopies and the stone barbecue are the protagonists in this picture enriched by multicoloured flowers and plants of Mediterranean scrub. The furnished outdoor dining area is just outside the kitchen French window. The 300 m lane that leads to the swimming pool represents an oasis of peace where you can enjoy all the scents of the wild plants while strolling under the shade of the trees. In the pool area, surrounded by trees and well-kept areas of lawn and flowers, is an outdoor shower hidden inside a dome created with climbing plants that fits perfectly into this vegetation-rich context. Past the entrance gate leading into the property is a parking area.

The completely-fenced swimming pool for exclusive use of guests is located about 300 m from the house and is reached along a shady, tree-lined path. L-shaped, the pool measures 14 x 7 m with a total area of about 100 sq m and with the depth varying from 1.50 to 2.50 m. Lined in PVC with a stone-paved border, it has chlorine purification, internal spotlights and steps for access to the water. Surrounded by well-maintained trees and plants, the solarium area has sunbeds, a relaxation area, a corner equipped with a hammock and a shower hidden in a dome created with climbing plants. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

Interior

The property consists of two adjacent units. UNIT 1. On two floors. The entrance opens into an area communicating with two single bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, one with shower and the other with shower and tub, and, finally, with a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. The floor is completed by the dining room with fireplace, open on two sides and communicating with the kitchen; both rooms have direct access to the courtyard through French windows. A steep, 10-step staircase leads to the upper floor with a double bedroom (featuring a low stone barrel vault with a maximum height of 190 cm) with ensuite bathroom with shower. UNIT 2. On one floor only, it consists of a sitting room and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower.
