The group is composed of (from west to east): Lake Orta, Lake Maggiore, Lake Varese, Lake Lugano, Lake Como, Lake Iseo, Lake Idro and Lake Garda. The three largest are all well over 100 km2, they are: Lake Garda (largest in Italy), Lake Maggiore (largest in southern Switzerland) and Lake Como.

You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the heart of Bellagio, a few steps from restaurants and shops. You will find the stop for Linee Lecco bus Bellagio - Lecco line at 400 meters and the closest beach (Lido di Bellagio) at roughly 700 meters. Your apartment is located on the first floor. You will reach it from the entrance of the building going up approximately ten stairway steps. You will not need a car to stay at this apartment. If you do have one, you will be able to park it at approximately 800 meters, for a fee (€15 per day), in a garage. The parking space is suitable for at most one car. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. If necessary, you can park for a fee along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).

You will find the closest restaurant, a grocery store at 100 meters (330 feet), the stop for the ASF bus C10 Como - Menaggio - Colico line at 200 meters (660 feet) and the beach at 20 meters (approximately 65 feet). You will reach the Villa from the parking area going down a 150-meters (490-feet) walkway that cuts through the historic centre and includes approximately 50 stairway steps. For a successful stay at the Villa we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it downtown, free of charge in a public parking lot (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved).

The villa is about 400m down the road from the Port of Torchio, in Manerba, with 2 excellent restaurants as well as a bar/gelateria and a boat rentals company. There is a marina just 100m from the villa, where we have a boat mooring for a boat up to 7m reserved for the villa. The village of Montinelle, with various shops, restaurants and services is about 1.5km away. At the tip of the peninsula, just 200m from the villa, you will find the water bridge to the Isola dei Conigli, a park and natural preserve great for picnics. On the other side, you will find the Pisenze beach just under Rocca di Manerba, with an SUP (stand up paddle canoes) centre and a wonderful restaurant on the beach of Pisenze. There are also various trekking tracks taking you up the Rocca di Manerba, an archaeological park with fabulous ruins as well as a nature preserve.
