Set on the green hills surrounding Florence is the beautiful residence. The unique view seen from here that embraces the whole plain stretching from Florence towards Pistoia, and ending on a cluster of small borghi that surround the property, can be best admired at night, perhaps while immersed in the panoramic pool. Already existing in 1200, the borgo was a medieval settlement guarding the underlying castle of Calenzano, which flanks the roads that climbed the Apennine mountains, uniting Florence and Bologna.
